Classes are available through distance education. The program may be started at the beginning of any semester; 36 hours are required for the degree.

 

This degree is designed to prepare the classroom teacher for integrating the use of technology into the content areas in grades preK-12. The program will enable the student to explore current theory, research, and best practices in educational technology. Upon completion of the degree, the student will be eligible to apply for certification as a Master Technology Teacher. Certification as a Master Technology Teacher requires an applicant to have an elementary or secondary teaching certificate, three years of teaching experience, and pass the Master Technology Teacher examination.
