Early Childhood Care

Bachelor of Science in Education - Early Childhood & Early Care

Our online Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood & Early Care provides the knowledge and skills to work with children in environments related to school and youth development. This does not lead to teacher certification, rather, the interdisciplinary approach to cognitive and emotional development of youth.

A B.S.Ed. in Early Childhood & Early Care might be right for you if...

  • You have work experience working with children in a non-instructional role
  • You currently work in daycare centers, community-based pre-schools, or child development centers
  • You are a transfer student with credits from one or more colleges/universities
  • Need the flexibility of online courses or can only take a few courses each semester

The Early Childhood & Early Care degree program at Midwestern State University will allow you to explore careers with children as they develop from birth through the Level 3 - Primary age.
