Early Childhood & Early Care (B.S.E)
Bachelor of Science in Education - Early Childhood & Early Care
Our online Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood & Early Care (ECSEC) provides the knowledge and skills to work with children in environments related to school and youth development. This does not lead to teacher certification, rather, the interdisciplinary approach to cognitive and emotional development of youth.
A B.S.E. in Early Childhood & Early Care might be right for you if...
- You have work experience with children in a non-instructional role
- You currently work in daycare centers, community-based pre-schools, or child development centers
- You are a transfer student with credits from one or more colleges/universities
- Need the flexibility of online courses or can only take a few courses each semester
- Would like to pursue alternative teacher certification or an Early Intervention Specialist.
The ECSEC degree will prepare students to embark upon career paths dedicated to improving life opportunities for young children and their families.
