The Fluid Power Laboratory is where the students put into practice the principles of hydraulic and pneumatic machine design that they learn in the classroom. There are five complete trainers with hydraulic components, pneumatic components and electrically controlled solenoid valves. The students can built circuits that have been simulated first with software using Automation Studio. There are also two servo hydraulic trainers which can be used for speed and position control feedback loops of motor and cylinder position, cylinder and motor speed and pressure feedback.
