The Machine Dynamics Laboratory is where students learn the principles and limitations of many basic mechanical machine designs. Experiments are conducted to demonstrate the many techniques and difficulties encountered when particular approaches are used to create mechanical devices. Students are able to verify theoretical calculations by observing the effects in a controlled, but real-world setting.
