- Request an account through our digital form here. Please be sure to read and complete all fields.
- For any further questions, please refer to our FAQ regarding Certify Teacher. Faculty will also have both the form and the FAQ linked in their D2L classes.
- Login information will come from Certify Teacher to the email address students provide in the form above.
- Take initial Certify Teacher practice exam(s). Students must complete 10 hours of study and achieve 80% or higher in each domain before being released for their exam.
- If the student scores less than 80% in each domain, complete the study tracker program in Certify Teacher. Once the study tracker program is completed, retake the practice exam.
- If the second practice exam is less than 80% in each domain, repeat the processuntil at least 80% is reached in each domain.
- Students must reach at least 10 hours of study time in study mode or flash card modefor each exam, regardless of whether they have initially completed the 80% or above requirement. EXAM MODE TIME DOES NOT COUNT.
- Once a student has met the requirements above, please email the West College of Education at collegeofed@msutexas.edu to be released for testing. Students will be notified within 24-48 hours of their ability to schedule their certification exam. Please view the following document for assistance in creating a testing account, registering for the exam, and scheduling the exam.
