About the MSUReady Initiative: 

Launched in March 2020, MSUReady is a campus-wide public service initiative designed to educate and empower Mustangs to prepare for, respond to, and mitigate emergencies, including natural and man-made disasters. The goal of the initiative is to promote preparedness through public involvement.  

MSUReady asks individuals to do three things: 

  1. Prepare: Know your risks, build a kit, get involved in campus training.
  2. Plan: Make a plan with your family in the event something happens at home, on campus, or abroad.
  3. Stay Informed: Know how to get information when you need it most.
