Located on the first floor of Moffett Library, TASP's Learning Center offers drop-in tutoring support for most general subject areas including but not limited to Writing, Math, Science, Psychology, History, and Foreign Languages. Students check in to work one-on-one with a tutor typically for an hour regarding specific concepts. To check the availability of tutors in a specific subject area, consult the tutoring link below. The Learning Center observes all campus holidays and closures.
Departmental Tutoring
Some departments on campus provide additional tutoring in their respective areas. Check out the Tutoring @ MSU tab at the top of the Portal page for more information!
We love hearing from faculty and staff regarding tutor referrals, so if you are an MSU Sophomore, Junior or Senior, or Graduate Student who is interested in learning more about being a tutor, contact, Phillis Bunch, phillis.bunch@msutexas.edu or (940) 397-4544, today to see when the next round of interviews are scheduled.
You can fill-out and print the Tutor Application and bring it to the TASP office located in Moffett Library Monday - Friday from 8-5. All applicants must have a faculty recommendation. More information can be found on the application.
