All of the following tutoring services are available to current MSU students free of charge and require no appointment. 

 

TASP's Learning Center (TLC)

Located on the first floor of Moffett Library, TASP's Learning Center offers drop-in tutoring support for most general subject areas including but not limited to Writing, Math, Science, Psychology, History, and Foreign Languages. Students check in to work one-on-one with a tutor typically for an hour regarding specific concepts. To check the availability of tutors in a specific subject area, consult the tutoring link below.  The Learning Center observes all campus holidays.

The Learning Center is closed for the fall 2024 semester. Winter Mini tutoring will be available. Check our Distance Education page for more information.

TASP's Group Tutoring

Located on the first floor of Moffett Library in the Learning Center, TASP's Group Tutoring provides a space for students to work on Math, Science, and Writing assignments with assistance from tutors in these areas as needed after hours. See the schedule for the most updated group tutoring hours. These hours are designed for student-athletes, commuter students, and others for whom day-time tutoring hours are difficult to attend.  *available spring and fall semesters only

We love hearing from faculty and staff regarding tutor referrals, but if you are an MSU Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student who is interested in learning more about being a tutor, contact us today to see when the next round of interviews will be.

You can complete the application located under Online Forms and bring it to the TASP office located in Moffett Library Monday - Friday from 8-5. Faculty-referred tutors are preferred.
