MRI Program Application

Thank you for applying to the Midwestern State University MRI Certificate Program in Radiologic Sciences. There is a two (2) step process for admission to the MRI Certificate Program. Students must be accepted by both 1) MSU and 2) the Radiologic Sciences department. Candidates who wish to concurrently receive their BSRS degree must follow the application process for the BSRS Program and submit an application for the MRI Certificate Program separately.

  1. New students to MSU must apply to the university at Students must adhere to university application deadlines.
  2. Students who have already earned a BSRS or BSRT degree with MSU must reapply to the university through the Graduate School Application link instead of Applytexas.
  3. All applicants must apply online to the MRI Program using the Online Application Form below.
Only completed applications will be considered.

Application Checklist
  • The candidate must have access to the Internet and must have a valid e-mail account.
  • The candidate must apply to Midwestern State University online if not currently an MSU student.
  • The candidate must send official transcripts to the Midwestern State University Admissions Office.
  • The candidate must send unofficial transcripts and courses in progress sent as one email to All transcripts, including MSU transcripts, must be sent. The subject line of the email should read MRI Program_ Transcripts. Transcripts should be saved preferably as PDF files. Courses in progress should be saved as a screenshot. All education documents should be sent as one email.
  • The candidate should be sure has been added as a safe domain to email to avoid returns or “junk” mail status.
  • The candidate should be sure the MRI Program Application information is complete.
  • The candidate should be sure the verification signature has been included.

A confirmation email will be sent once the application is received. Only completed applications will be considered.
