Global Education Mission Statement

The Global Education Office is dedicated to supporting all international activities at Midwestern State University. For our international scholars, our office provides support and guidance starting with the initial recruitment, through graduation, and throughout optional practical training. We also provide outstanding study abroad opportunities for our degree seeking students and our faculty. Finally, we assist our degree seeking students, the local community, the business community, and our governmental partners with Intensive English Language preparation. The cultural and learning opportunities provided by our office add significant value to the MSU Texas and Wichita Falls community.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which contains this information, you can stop by the Midwestern State University Police Department at 6 Eureka Circle, Wichita Falls, TX or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling (940) 397-4239.

The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as crime prevention; public safety authority; crime reporting policies; fire safety; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about fire statistics in MSU Texas Residential Facilities and crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by law and is provided by the Midwestern State University Police Department.
