Getting to know your Admissions Counselor

Q: What is your favorite thing(s) about MSU?

A: Being from the Wichita Falls area, my favorite thing about MSU is the fantasy of lights tradition! I also love how kind and welcoming everyone is!

Q: Favorite place to hang out in Wichita Falls?

A: Frank and Joe’s! I love how it is local to our community and has a welcoming feeling.

Q: What was the greatest lesson that you learned in college?

A: Connection changes everything. Through building relationships, I discovered that true growth, both personal and professional, happens through meaningful connection.

Q: What was your favorite class in college? Why?

A: My favorite college class was a leadership seminar course, not because of the textbook content, but because of the real-life lessons and advice we received. It challenged me to reflect about who I am, how I lead and how I want to show up for others beyond the classroom.

Q: What are you passionate about?

A: Showing up for others. I believe that the world is run by those who show up!

Q: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?

A: My parents have had the greatest influence on my life. They have always been my biggest supporters and now are my best friends. No matter what my dream was, they encouraged me to pursue it fiercely and taught me that I have the ability to make an impact upon others in even the most mundane moments.
