The following courses are listed as suggestions for completing the required hours (8) of electives in Biology or Chemistry to be applied toward the Clinical Laboratory Science Degree. You may enter the Medical Technology Practicum at the end of your junior year (minimum of 89 hours required) or with a BS or BA degree in Biology or Chemistry, providing you have completed the required courses for medical technology outlined in the MSU Catalog. The courses listed with an (*) below are given priority as these courses will be the most beneficial toward a degree in medical technology. These courses are not offered each semester, so consult the Biology Course Sequence, contained in this packet, when registering to ensure that you will be able to take the course when offered. Also be sure to consult the catalog for the list of prerequisites for each of the courses listed.
