As part of your City as Text experience we have partnered with two local eateries that have each agreed to provide you dinner today. Each eatery, is locally owned and provides a nice overview of the popular food offerings in Wichita Falls. For dinner select one of the two eateries. Attached is the meal they will be offering us. Select your meal choice and when you order present them with the ticket provided for you. Each eatery is located in our exploration area. Home of the Red Taco, Casa Mañana has been in business and family owned for 75 years. They serve your favorite Mexican Dishes, including house made corn chips. A true Wichita Falls original.
Established in 1947. Our business starts in 1947 by Pete Karr and his sons Nick and Buddy. Original Casa Mañana was the first restaurant. Then they opened 2 more. After some time 2 closed and the Original Casa Mañana remains the only one and it belonged to Nick Karr. Since Nicks death his son Larry and daughter in law Vicki have taken over. They are the 3rd generation to own it.
