"Nuts about Success"
Jennifer Rogers-Etcheverry is the founder of My Husband’s Nuts, a thriving almond operation in Bakersfield, California. The great-granddaughter of actor and newspaper columnist Will Rogers, Etcheverry’s endeavor began in 2003 when the family’s farm, like so many others, began to struggle. Dubbing herself “The Farmer’s Wife,” she set about marketing the almonds and the rest is history. Today, her almonds are sold in 24 states, including Texas, while My Husband’s Nuts accessories are sold on the company website. She has told her story of entrepreneurship at universities like California State University at Bakersfield, Rogers State University, and Missouri Southern State University. Etcheverry is also the co-founder of the Will Rogers Ranch Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to preserving the Will Rogers State Historic Park.
