Maintaining a Healthy Well-Being

MSU Texas supports student health and wellness through our wellbeing programs. We provide 24/7 access to TimelyCare, mental health, physical health, and wellbeing support where students need it.

Flu Prevention Essentials:

  • Wash your hands
  • Cover your cough
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Get your flu shot

Flu symptoms:

  • Malaise
  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Body ache

If you get the flu:

  • Cover your cough
  • Acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever & pain
  • Stay home until fever free for 24 hours
  • Call the health center for guidance if
    • You have a chronic illness such as diabetes or asthma
    • You are pregnant
