Sharon Izedonmi came to the US as an international student and graduated from MSU Texas in 2019. She understands what it is like being a foreign student and empathizes with the needs of each. As someone who received scholarships while she was a student, she has decided to give back to her fellow international students at MSU Texas. Sharon has now donated funding to the Global Education Office to create her own scholarship called God's Own Cause (G.O.C). This scholarship will grant two students each semester up to $500 to assist them with their costs. If you are interested please read the information below.
All international students are welcome to apply. Preference may be given to students from Nigeria and or other West African countries. You must be in good academic standing to be eligible to apply.
Applications for Spring 2024 are open and are due on Tuesday, January 23. Submit an application
