Give by Electronic Funds Transfer

Support MSU without writing a check. Through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), you can make a one-time gift or spread the cost of your support throughout the year by authorizing your bank to transfer to MSU an amount you set. All personal information will be held in the strictest confidence.

To set up your payment plan, contact Garrett Holland, Director of Leadership and Annual Giving, at (940) 397-4539 or garrett.holland@msutexas.edu to request an EFT form.

Give Securities

Making a gift of securities to MSU makes it possible to help the university while realizing important tax benefits for yourself. With careful planning, you can reduce or even avoid federal capital gains tax. MSU’s Office of Gift Planning can show you how a gift of securities may be more beneficial than writing a check. Call (940) 397-4728 and speak to Rhonda McClung, Assistant Vice President of Planned Giving to discuss giving options or visit Planned Giving.

When the transaction is complete, please notify Laura Peterson, Associate Director of University Development for Donor Services and Scholarships, at (940) 397-4919 or laura.peterson@msutexas.edu to insure that your gift is credited correctly.

Give Through Your Estate or other Planned Gifts

You can invest in MSU by including the university in your will, naming MSU the beneficiary of life insurance or retirement plans or leaving gifts of real assets. Life income gifts are also an option and can provide for you and your family, create tax benefits and leave an important legacy at MSU. Call Rhonda McClung, Assistant Vice President of Gift Planning at 940-397-4728 to discuss opportunities or visit Planned Giving.
