Midwestern State University will begin campus operations at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29. Students should report to in-person classes that are regularly scheduled for 11 a.m. Online classes will meet as scheduled. Mustangs Shuttle will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We want to remind our Mustangs community that below freezing temperatures are expected again tonight. As a result, some roadways, sidewalks, and parking areas may be slick. Our facilities team will be on campus at 7 a.m. as they have been throughout the week continuing their efforts to clear sidewalks and entryways into our buildings. Please note that despite these efforts, conditions will vary across campus.
Please use caution and allow extra time for travel as you make your way to campus.
COVID-19 is currently affecting our community and campus. Please be aware that policies may change suddenly. Clinical site immunization policies supersede program requirements. Students must understand that most clinical agencies prohibit the presence of unvaccinated students at their facilities. Students who are unwilling or unable to comply with their clinical site immunization policy will be required to step out of the program and reapply. Students attending programs in the Gunn College of Health Science and Human services will most likely care for COVID-positive patients. Therefore, it is advised that all students receive the COVID-19 vaccine before their first clinical rotation. It is also recommended that students receive the COVID-19 booster.
