Application Instructions for Domestic Applicants

Follow these instructions to apply to McAda Graduate School as a domestic applicant.

1. Submit the online application to McAda Graduate School via ApplyTexas. Application deadlines vary by graduate program. Refer to our Application Deadlines page for program-specific deadline information.

2. Allow some time for your application to be processed. Check your email for an application status message that will include the application requirements for your intended graduate program, as well as your Mustangs ID and PIN. You can check your application status online once you have your Mustangs ID and PIN.

3. Pay the $50 application fee via American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. There are no application fee waivers being offered at this time.

4. Request official transcripts from all institutions you have attended other than MSU. Transcripts may be electronic or printed. Electronic transcripts must be sent to the Admissions Office from institutions by email or through Parchment; electronic transcripts sent from applicants will not be accepted as official. Printed transcripts must be mailed in sealed envelopes from institutions to Admissions Office, Midwestern State University, 3410 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308.

5. If the GRE is required for your intended graduate program, request official test scores from ETS. Test scores may be electronic or printed. Electronic test scores must be emailed to the Admissions Office from ETS; electronic test scores emailed from applicants will not be accepted as official. Printed test scores must be mailed in a sealed envelope from ETS to Admissions Office, Midwestern State University, 3410 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308.

6. Submit all other application requirements for your intended graduate program to the Admissions Office.

7. Once your application file is complete, allow some time for your application file to be reviewed by the graduate coordinator of your intended graduate program. Check your email for a formal notification of your admission decision.

Application Instructions for International Applicants

Follow these instructions to apply to McAda Graduate School as an international applicant.

2. Allow some time for your application to be processed. Check your email for an application status message that will include the application requirements for your intended graduate program, as well as your Mustangs ID and PIN. 6. Request official English proficiency test scores from Duolingo, IELTS, or TOEFL. Test scores may be electronic or printed. Electronic test scores must be emailed to the Admissions Office from the testing service; electronic test scores emailed from applicants will not be accepted as official. Printed test scores must be mailed in a sealed envelope from the testing service to Admissions Office, Midwestern State University, 3410 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308. Duolingo test score must be 105, IELTS test score must be 6.0 or higher, and TOEFL test score must be 79 or higher. If preferred, international applicants may complete the Intensive English Language Institute at MSU instead of taking an English proficiency test. If your first language is English, you may not be required to take an English proficiency test or submit test scores.

7. Submit all other application requirements for your intended graduate program to the Admissions Office.

8. Once your application file is complete, allow some time for your application file to be reviewed by the graduate coordinator of your intended graduate program. Check your email for a formal notification of your admission decision.
