Conference Schedule

 

Friday, March 10th

All Friday events will take place in the Clark student center on campus of Midwestern State University (building number 14 on Campus map). Shuttles will run from the Hampton Inn and La Quinta Inn and Suites to campus. If you drive please use parking lots 2, 3, 10 or 15 for free conference parking.

2:00-5:00 Conference Registration

2:00 - 4:00 Poster Set up

4:00 – 5:30 Poster Session

6:00 – 7:45 Welcome Dinner

7:45 – 8:00 Moderator training

8:00 GPHC Executive Board Meeting

8:00 – 10:00 GPHC Great Trivia Battle

 
Saturday, March 11th

Saturday morning events take place in the Dillard college of Business Administration (building 17 on campus map) on the Midwestern State University campus. Shuttles will run from the Hampton Inn and La Quinta Inn and Suites to campus. If you drive please use parking lots 2, 3, 10 or 15 for free conference parking. 

6:00 – 8:30 a.m. Breakfast at hotel (included with hotel stay)

7:45 – 9:00 a.m. Shuttles Run continuously between Hampton Inn and and La Quinta Inn and Suites MSU Campus, Dillard Building.

8:30-9:20 a.m. - Boe Award Presentations (Dillard Building)

9:30-10:20 a.m. - Presentation Session I (Dillard Building)

10:30-11:20 a.m. - Presentation Session II (Dillard Building)

11:30-12:15 p.m. -Lunch Break (189 Dillard)

12:15-1:05 -Presentation Session III (Dillard Building)

1:15 p.m. Excursions

6:30 p.m. Banquet

8:00-10:00 p.m Z Dawgs Karaoke & Great Plains Grand Prix Video Game Tournament 

 

Sunday, March 12th

8:00 a.m. GPHC Business Meeting, Hampton Inn

As we approach the conference it is time to prepare your poster and oral presentation. Please review the guidelines and tips for creating a student poster here. To prepare for your oral presentation please consult the oral presentation guidelines here. There are more presentation tips and additional information on the Britt and Boe Awards on the GPHC site. Additionally, we are seeking student volunteers to serve as oral presentation moderators. This is a great way to get involved at the conference and help build your resume. If you would like to serve as a student moderator at GPHC please send us an email to honors@msutexas.edu
