Hey, you, in Maroon & Gold, show us your Spirit is Always Bold!
Maroon March is a week dedicated to celebrating the Maroon & Gold Spirit on campus!
Participate with our campus community by wearing Maroon or Gold or MSU Texas branded apparel every day of the week and receive special MSU Texas swag.*
Maroon March Week March 23-27
Giveaway times & locations:
- March 23: Campus kickoff, find us around campus!
- March 24: 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Quad
- March 25: 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Quad
- March 26: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Promenade - Maroon Block party!
- Food tickets for the first 150 students (El Norteño or Razzle's Italian Ice) courtesy of University Programming Board and the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. Plus, don't miss a Maroon Friday popcorn pop-up with Maverick and the MSU Texas Mustangs Football team.

Our campus community brought the Maroon and Gold spirit to life during Maroon March Week. Students wore maroon or gold all week long and enjoyed exclusive giveaways along the way. The celebration wrapped up with a Friday block party on Jesse Rogers Promenade, featuring music, fun, and photos with everyone’s favorite Mustang, Maverick.
Maverick T. Mustang and his posse roamed the MSU Texas campus during March looking for spirited departments, offices, organizations and proud Mustangs who exhibited our core values: People-Centered, Community, Integrity, Visionary, and Connection. Maverick and team also spread a little maroon and gold spirit with a series of pop-up events throughout the month!
