National Counselor Examination (NCE)


This standardized test is used to to assess knowledge, skills and abilities determined to be important for providing effective counseling services. The NCE is a requirement for counselor licensure in many states and for the National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification.

  3. How long will I be at the testing center?
    Your appointment can extend up to 4 hours and 15 minutes.
  4. How much does it cost to register for the NCE?
    The registration fee for the NCE is $275.
