ASIA:
We have active agreements and outreaches in China, particularly in Guandong Province and Shanghai. We work with several partners and universities with the aim of increasing our Chinese enrollment. Indian students represent our largest contingent on campus. Most are from the A-P/Telangana region with significant representation from Gujarat. Almost all our Indian students are post graduate and most are in computer science. Sri Lanka is our third most significant market in Asia with a growing and vibrant representation. Our plan is to increase our outreach to Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and The Philippines by seeking credible agency partners and engaging counterpart institutions.
Africa: Our African contingent has declined in recent years due to the economic circumstances in our primary markets of Zimbabwe and Nigeria. Nonetheless, we remain committed to hosting credible students from the African continent. We currently have active outreaches to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and South Africa, in addition to Zimbabwe and Nigeria. Our African contingent, though comparatively small, represents over a dozen countries on the continent.
Caribbean and The Bahamas: This region, largely because of its proximity, language and cultural commonalities with the USA, has generally been our most vibrant market. Our recent growth in The Bahamas has been phenomenal. Other large groups from the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Lucia are among our very active Caribbean student population. Our program works collaboratively with local governments and colleges in that region. Our plan is to maintain and expand our Caribbean outreach as the flagship of our international program.
Latin America: Latin America, including Mexico and South America is largely on our wish list. We will be reaching south of our border with some urgency starting in 2017 with particular interest in Mexico, Brazil, and Ecuador.
Middle East: This area is still of interest. We currently host a modest contingent of students, mainly from Saudi Arabia. We are interested in Kuwait and UAE. However, with recent changes in government regulation we recognize the challenges of funding availability. We do have an excellent ESL institute that caters to students with language training needs.
Rest of the world: Our European, Australian, and other contingent is relatively small. Our representation comprises mainly exchange students and athletes. We are actively seeking partnerships and opportunities to expand our global representation wherever possible.
