Undergraduate Research
EURECA facilitates undergraduate research by providing incentives and support for undergraduate students to engage in high-quality research and creative activities in an interdisciplinary environment. Students have opportunities during the entire academic year to explore, create, discover, and think critically. The cornerstone of EURECA is the development of strong mentoring and collaborative partnerships between students and faculty. Graduate students may also be mentors. Graduate students enrolled in thesis-based graduate programs may submit proposals to mentor an undergraduate student.

UGROW affords opportunities for collaborative research between undergraduates and faculty in an interdisciplinary research environment. For five weeks UGROW students experience the authenticity of scientific research in faculty’s laboratories, in a highly interdisciplinary environment. UGROW students work on projects of their choice for five weeks and present their findings at the end of program and the MSU Undergraduate Research Forum.
