I study environmental politics, disaster resilience, and social capital in the East Asian region and beyond. I am working on a variety of projects that span disaster preparedness and management, human-induced disasters, renewable energy policy, social capital, and East Asian politics. My work has appreared in interdisciplinary journals, such as Journal of Community & Applied Social Psychology, Environmental Hazards, Disasters, International Journal of Disaster risk Reduction, and Journal of Comtemporary Asia.
