How do I get access to the EAB Navigate platform for myself or others in my office?

We’re rolling out access to Navigate Student in phases. Later in the fall semester, we’ll be offering training and setting up selected new users. During the 2020-21 academic year, all faculty and staff will be invited to participate in one 90-minute training session, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity so that we can use Navigate effectively to serve our students.  During training, users will receive guidance on how to access their Navigate account and use its various features. All training materials and user guides will be uploaded to this website for your reference.

How do I log in to the EAB Navigate platform?

Once you’ve completed the new user training, you’ll be able to login with your MSU Texas single sign-on username and password.

Is the Early Alert system changing?

Until we have the majority of our faculty and student services staff trained and using Navigate Student, we will continue to use the current reporting system for Student Alerts. Do you have a student struggling with academics or attendance in class? If so, please fill out this student alert form, and the TASP office and/or the Student Rights and Responsibilities will assist you.

If your student is having academic difficulty, has never attended class, missed enough class that it has put successful completion in jeopardy, or is displaying disruptive or otherwise inappropriate behavior in class, please submit your concern using the Student Alert form online. Once everyone has been trained, faculty will submit all progress reports (mid-term; student-athlete; Priddy Scholars, etc.), as well as Early Alerts (previously referred to as referrals) via Navigate; staff can also submit Early Alerts as needed. Please note: Mid-term (and final) grades will still need to be entered in Banner self-service (WebWorld), as usual.
