Teach undergraduate nursing courses primarily in the accelerated nursing program. Collaborate with faculty to develop, teach, organize, and evaluate courses, clinical sites, and student experiences for the undergraduate program. Advise and mentor students, as well as participate in faculty governance. Candidates are expected to participate in scholarly activities aligned with duties, and be involved in service to the university, community, and the profession.
Required: MSN is required, RN licensure or eligibility for Texas licensure; assistant professor must be willing to earn a doctorate.  Preferred: Teaching and/or experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Fundamentals Nursing, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and/or Community Health.
