All application requirements must be submitted to the Office of Graduate Admissions.

• Submit the McAda Graduate School application online before the deadlines listed at the bottom of this page. There is a $50 application fee for all prospective students.

• Check the Graduate Programs page to determine if the GRE is required by your intended program. If your intended program requires you to take the GRE, request that your official test scores be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Additionally, international applicants may need to take the TOEFL or IELTS, which test English language proficiency. Please allow at least one month for official test scores to be received by the Office of Graduate Admissions.

• Request official transcripts from each institution that you have attended other than MSU Texas. Transcripts should be mailed directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions at MSU Texas, 3410 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas. Alternatively, official transcripts may be sent electronically by institutions to graduateschool@msutexas.edu for expedited receipt.

• Contact the graduate coordinator of your intended program for specific application requirements. Some programs may require a separate departmental application.

• If you are a McNair Scholar, submit your application fee waiver to graduateschool@msutexas.edu.

• A FAFSA is required to apply for financial aid. For assistance with the form, visit the Financial Aid website. If you are applying for a certification program, visit this page for information on financial aid status.

• Once your application has been received, you will be contacted and given your Mustangs ID number and PIN, which can be used to check your application status online.

• Once your application file is complete with all required application materials, a review will be sent to the graduate coordinator of your intended program for consideration. The Dean of McAda Graduate School reviews all admission decisions and sends a formal notification to each student.

If you have questions about the application process, please call (940) 397-4920.
