Qian Li, Ph.D.
Dr. Qian Li received her Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University in 2005. She came to MSU Texas soon after and joined the Dillard College of Business as a faculty member. In 2010, she received her CFA charter designation.
Dr. Li currently teaches Business Finance and Risk Management & Insurance for undergraduate students and Financial Administration for MBA students. She also works with students in the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) class, which is open for both graduate and undergraduate students interested in investing real money in the stock market.
Dr. Li’s current research interests are household finance, particularly how financial literacy can affect household financial decisions.
In her free time, Dr. Li enjoys running, hiking, reading, and baking. Her favorite way to de-stress is playing with her dog Monty.
